Speed Sort
One term at a time, sorted into its category against the clock.
- A term appears on a card.
- Tap the category it belongs in before the clock runs down.
- Right answers in a row build your streak.
Two kinds. Terminology games drill the words of a trade; Role Player gets a class ready for the roleplay you run in the room. Students join with a code from their teacher, no sign-up.
Build the topic once and every game below runs on it, as a class round with a live leaderboard or as practice. Quick, scored, and over before anyone drifts.
One term at a time, sorted into its category against the clock.
Each term paired with its definition, a handful at a time.
Beat the topic's Titan by firing the right term at every attack.
Fly the rocket through the gate with the right term, all the way to a new planet.
The trailer is silent and lasts 15 seconds. A title card reads “Word Rocket, a MeraLearn game”. Mission Control asks: “Head of the kitchen. Owns the menu, the ordering and the staff. Fly through the term.” Three gates hold Chef de Cuisine, Rôtisseur and Tournant. The rocket flies through Chef de Cuisine, the right one, then through three more right gates. On the fifth right answer the screen shows “Hyperdrive!” and gold speed lines. The rocket lands, with the words “Touchdown on Vesta Prime!”, and the end card repeats the game’s line: “Fly the rocket through the gate with the right term, all the way to a new planet.”
Every right answer lifts a tile off a hidden term. Guess it early for more stars.
Pop the bubble with the right term, and its whole group pops with it. Sweeps ask for every term in a group.
Preparing for a roleplay, and then running it. Different content, different logic, so it is its own kind of game, not another terminology drill.
Students prepare on their phones for a roleplay you run in class, and take their own answers into it.
On the way for Role Player: Script Builder and Hot Seat are in development; Objection!, Scene Swap and Improv Cards are planned.
What gets built next is decided by what classrooms need.
It's free while it's being built. Ask for an account and we'll switch it on for you and your classes. If your subject needs a game that isn't here, that's the sort of thing that gets built next.
